Return/Refund Policy

Mainline Sensors Products Returns Policy.


All returned items are to be supplied with a Mainline Products return reference stating the reason for return. A valid returns reference can be obtained by emailing info@mainline-sensors.co.uk. Returns without this information will be returned to the originator at their cost.

Returned and accepted items that are within their warranty period, and are deemed to have a manufacturing defect, will be reviewed within 5 - 7 working days of being received. If the returned unit is deemed to have a manufacturing fault, Mainlne sensors will repair or replace the returned units or raise a credit depending on instruction from the customer. Allow up to 5 - 7 days for repair depending on the unit type. Credits will be raised within 1 - 2 working days of a manufacturing fault being confirmed.

If further analysis or testing is required to determine the reported fault, the customer will be advised.

Returned items that are deemed to be faulty due to misuse, or used in an inappropriate application, by the customer will be returned or disposed of after consultation with the customer.
If product replacements are required in advance to Mainline sensors reviewing the returned units, a new purchase order will be required. If the returned units are then deemed to have a manufacturing fault, Mainline sensors will credit against the original order.

Any standard products that are listed on the website and are returned for re-stocking, will incur a minimum £5 handling and restocking fee. These items need to be returned to Mainline sensors within 30 days of purchase.

Mainline sensors cannot accept bespoke products for re-stocking or refund unless faulty or a mistake is made on our behalf.
