Compact Dual temperature display.
This compact dual Intercooler temperature gauge measuring only 45mm x 25mm x 15mm comes complete with two fast response thermocouple probe sensors which have been designed with inlet air temperature applications in mind primarily for performance cars and motorcycles, but can be used in temperature application on planes, boats, snowmobiles and even machinery
The dual temperature reading is achieved by installing the air temperature sensors on the piping of both the entrance side and exit side of the intercooler. The IN TEMP sensor is installed on the piping after the turbo and before the intercooler, and the OUT TEMP sensor is installed on the piping after the intercooler and before the engine intake.
This Air Charge Temperature gauge monitors the temperature of the charged and forced air entering the plenum and intercooler prior to ignition.
Particularly on turbo charged cars, the colder the air, the denser the charge creating more power. By fitting this gauge, you can see exactly how effective mods like bigger intercoolers or ducting have on the incoming and outgoing air temperatures.

The gauge allows you to see how efficiently your intercooler or charge cooler is working and also gives you warning should charge temperatures reach dangerous levels, allowing you to avoid situations where detonation may occur.
